Affiliate Marketing Outlook

Affiliate marketing is when you earn money by promoting someone else’s goods. It appeals to practically everyone since it allows you to bypass about 95% of the processes necessary to start your own company. It’s simple and quick to get started, and it costs practically nothing. Nobody bothers you after you’re up and running and profitable, which is good. It may even be somewhat inactive depending on your traffic source. I mean, what’s not to like? But therein is the issue. I’ll explain further down.

UP NEXT: It’s Like Affiliate Marketing, Only Better

Because it’s so tempting and has such a low barrier to entry, and because if you’re successful, your days will be filled with freedom, just about everyone who’s ever Googled “how to earn money online” has tried it or is currently doing it, right? And affiliate marketing has been for as long as the internet has existed, so that’s a lot of compounding competition, huh? So, whichever day you’re reading this in 2022, the competition has never been fiercer. That will be true every day and year after that.

What’s the other side of that? For the last decade, ambitious affiliates have been asking whether affiliate marketing is dead. It’s simply the way people are. We constantly believe that we are too late. Sure, we’re occasionally a little later than we’d like, but no online business model ever dies. Sure, things will change. It’ll change. It will undoubtedly become more competitive. However, zoom out. Consider the future. In five years, 2022 will be remembered as the peak of affiliate marketing.

Ya know? The same is true for every other kind of internet company. It doesn’t matter whether you’re blogging, ecommerce, drop-shipping, self-publishing, credit repair, or an influencer, guru, or remote closer. None of them are dead or dying; they’re only mutating and growing louder, forcing you to improve if you want to survive. The software, the tools, the platforms, and the regulations may (or may not) change, but the best practices often do not. So, all you have to do is ask various questions.

Is Affiliate Marketing Worth It

“Is affiliate marketing extinct in 2022?” is a better question. or “Does affiliate marketing make sense anymore?” or “Can affiliate marketing still be profitable?” “Is affiliate marketing a suitable business model for me, and can I picture myself doing it every day for the next however many years?” it’s more like. People are much too concerned with time and chasing money when they should be concerned with selecting the greatest car and becoming the best driver, in my opinion.

There is no right or wrong, just advantages and downsides to any money-making approach, as I often repeat. And it’s your job to be self-aware and identify your strengths, weaknesses, preferences, and goals; and consider your risk tolerance and how much startup capital you have; and how much time you can devote to it; and what are your expectations; and how likely are you to give up and quit if you don’t meet them by a certain date; and then, based on all of that, find the ideal business for you.

And if you believe that’s affiliate marketing, fine, but be prepared to work like a dog all day, every day, or learn paid advertisements, copywriting, and funnels, because you’ll be competing against millions of amazing affiliates, and being able to generate and convert cold traffic is the name of the game. Inquire as to how I know this. After all of this, do I think the ordinary individual can earn $10,000 or more per month as an affiliate? Yes, most likely, although it will take longer than with other models. As in the example below.
