“I became serious about dropshipping,” William adds. “I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos, taking a lot of courses, and emptying every single check I’ve received from LA Fitness into Facebook advertisements.” Are you just trying out various products? “As a result, the margins were ridiculous,” William says. “And the first thing that came to mind was, ‘Wow, I can develop a website and sell it for a lot less than the competition,’ because I honestly believe these companies are overcharging, and I honestly believe I can produce a better site.’ That is just what I did. I created a Shopify website, added the product on it, and then began running Facebook advertisements for my bracelet. To be precise, Instagram Story advertisements.”

“I tell everyone I teach with ecommerce that Instagram Story ads are the greatest form of advertisements to run, and they’ve converted for me the most out of any type of campaign, right?” William continues. So I created an Instagram Story ad using Canva, a free service that allows users to make beautiful images. Then I simply put a photo of a couple wearing it that I found on Google, plus some sauce [title, body content], and then I just said, ‘Swipe up.’”

“And that one ad basically catapulted me from nothing to $45,000 in revenue in a matter of months, selling that one product.” Keep in mind that this happened four years ago. So I had no idea what I was doing with Facebook advertisements at the time. I was really just exploring, and I had faith in the dropshipping business concept because I knew individuals who had done well with it. I was also learning and making errors as I went along. Even with my little expertise of the ecommerce market, I was able to earn $45,000.”

William has lately shifted his concentration to distributing brand-name items on Amazon. He claims to earn over $100,000 every month doing so. I like William’s tale and believe he is knowledgeable. But, by dabbling in NFTs, investment, and digital real estate, is he spreading himself too thin?
