I was intrigued enough to click Luke’s ad and sign up for his free training. He opens the video by stating two essential truths. To begin with, practically all Amazon consumers purchase just Prime things. Two, they’ll pay extra for them since they’re Prime. So, how does a product become eligible for Prime? Luke describes it as “simple.” It must be sent from Amazon’s fulfillment center. This is referred to as Amazon FBA. FBA stands for “Fulfilled by Amazon.”

Luke discusses how understanding this lays the setup for a perfect profit storm. “All we have to do now is take non-Prime, low-cost items and convert them become Prime, high-cost items.” He uses the example of a non-Prime textbook that could be purchased for $11.52 but was selling for $174 with the Prime mark next to it. Essentially, you’re arbitraging books on Amazon.

Now. What method will you use to locate these books? Higher Path Ventures is here to help. Their unique program will search Amazon for you depending on your parameters and provide you with a selection of items to look into further. Will it get overcrowded if everyone is seeking for the same books? Luke declines. It’s a multibillion-dollar business with new novels appearing on a regular basis. For the record, I’m not certain he’s telling the truth. During the training, he used their proprietary software to do many searches, and I believe I saw some of the same titles each time.

Luke was informative and did a good job of addressing any questions that arose throughout his explanation. It’s a novel, well-thought-out, and extremely achievable side business, in my opinion.

As I already said, I remain suspicious about saturation. And I’d be irritated if I didn’t receive my money straight soon. And, if it’s so scalable, and they already have this incredible software, as well as processes and people in place, I’m not sure why they’d want to share it with us.
