Holton Buggs has over 30 years of experience in network marketing. He is the creator, chairman, and CEO of iBuumerang, a multilevel marketing organization. Many people are curious as to how he got to where he is now. What does he make? What is your net worth? Who is his spouse? And, more importantly, do you appreciate how he made his money? My Holton Buggs biography is farther down the page.
What Does This Have To Do With Direct Sales?
Holton Buggs was born and reared in Tampa, Florida, by a single mother. “Holton, God placed you here to be a leader and a provider,” she would often remind him. She was instilling in Holton’s mind affirmations about who he was meant to be. He came to believe it slowly but steadily. Despite the fact that his father was seldom there, Holton had a positive connection with him and was motivated by his different side hustles. His grandfather and grandmother were were bootleggers.
Earlene, Holton’s future wife, he met when he was thirteen years old. Holton informed her he was planning to marry her two weeks after they became boyfriend and girlfriend. He always knew what he wanted, and staying out of debt was at the top of his priority list. Holton had his grandmother make popcorn early in the morning in fourth grade. He’d put it in a bag and sell it to the schoolkids. He was chewing bubble gum. Newspapers were delivered. Groceries were bagged. People’s hair was cut. It’s all there.
He transformed a confectionery business into a makeshift MLM in high school without recognizing it, enlisting peers to help him sell more units. “Here’s the point,” Holton said, “I don’t believe in moderation.” That is why I am not a drug user. I’d be a crackhead if I tried crack.”
Holton received a football scholarship to college and majored in engineering. Soon after, he joined his first formal network marketing firm. He was intrigued by the highest incomes despite never earned more than $500 per month in seven years. He did odd jobs in the background as a waiter, at a theme park, and selling payment processing and furnishings. He spent the whole time refining his communication abilities. He spent what little money he had on personal development cassettes and books.
Holton hobbled his way into another MLM at the age of 24. He had heard that a regional director for the organization might earn up to $20,000 per month. “Tell me what I have to do to produce that myself,” he asked. Then he accomplished it, but his volume was so low that he plateaued at twelve hundred a month. He moved employers, joining his first binary comp plan, feeling disappointed yet closer to his big break. He was a quarter-million dollars in debt, his vehicle had been repossessed, and he was going to lose his house at this time.
Here comes Organo Gold. Holton joined a coffee and tea multilevel marketing company, despite not being a coffee drinker himself, knowing that the rest of the world was, and he set a goal of generating a million dollars every month. He’d achieved one-point-two million in monthly residuals shortly after turning 40. Following an estimated $100 million in commissions, iBuumerang’s CEO is now on a quest to make continuous residual income a reality for his distributors.
Holton Buggs has an estimated net worth of $70 million dollars. But, again, can you admire a guy whose whole wealth was built on the failure of, say, 98 percent of everyone below him? I just cannot. I’d rather be poor than a multilevel multi-millionaire, hands down. So, how about you?
