Land Academy is run by Steven and Jill, a lovely couple. Since 1999, they’ve been acquiring abandoned land and reselling it online. It’s similar to wholesaling homes, but with land. Steve and Jill explain it everything in their Land Academy presentations after fifteen thousand sales. But what really is the situation? “Well, every week, we send out unsolicited bids to acquire property from landowners by the ton,” Steve adds. “And for every 300 proposals we get, we buy a house that is significantly undervalued.” I used to work for a publicly listed real estate business as a vice president. I gained a lot of knowledge. Aside from learning that I didn’t want to work for that firm for the rest of my life, I also learned how to acquire inexpensive real estate. Since 2015, our mentorship group has produced more than $30 million in equity.”
“Why?” he continues. “Because it works.” “Have a look around, listen to our podcast, and check out the Land Pin dot com transactions we’ve completed.” This [Land Academy] is our method of repaying those who have helped us. It’s a comprehensive technique to successfully wholesaling real estate from beginning to end. And, as I often mention on our show, you are not alone in your desire to invest in real estate. We also have resources such as a countrywide assessor database, which is the same one that all 3200 counties use to send out property tax bills every year.”
“You’ll also have access to our wholesale bulk mailing service, which was created expressly for this purpose.” As well as Parcel Fact dot com, our in-house property evaluation website. There are a slew of other tools as well. We’ve acquired far too many over the previous two decades to list them all. However, we assist our members in purchasing excellent homes at excellent rates that we know will sell rapidly. How fast do you think it will happen? From start to end, we’ve completed agreements in two weeks. Is that the norm now? “No way.”
Jill also provided some suggestions for incoming members of the Land Academy. “Set objectives,” she said. “Really think about why you’re here, what you want to do with it, what you want to get out of it, and how much money you want to earn.” That is all there is to it. It all boils down to how much money you want to earn, how many transactions you want to complete, and how hard you want to work. After that, you’ll have to work backwards. Plug in this amount and calculate how much mail I’ll have to send each month.”
“And the third thing is to overcome your fears. That’s a major deal for some of these folks [who enroll in Land Academy]. They’re wary of some of these objectives, and I don’t want you to be, either. And this community is your most valuable resource. There are individuals you can ask right now, right now, because there is always someone six months ahead of you. And you can talk to them and us about it, and eventually find a method to get through it.”
The Land Academy’s flagship curriculum seems to cost $2450 per year + $295 every semester. This is where the Cash Flow From Land course comes in. Land Academy is a non-profit organization dedicated to 1.0: Land Academy, Rural Vacant Land 2.0: Infill Lots, as well as all of their software and tools, as well as live support calls. After seeing a few of their films, I have to admit that I adore Steve and Jill. They’re simply so real and laid-back, and they have this friendly banter that makes learning from them enjoyable.
