Nike Sasquatch Tour 460 Driver Review

Nike Sasquatch Tour 460 Driver Review

In my last review, I went over the Nike Sasquatch 460. It was a great club overall and a huge step forward as far as Nike Golf and drivers go. I simply could not keep the ball down though! I hit high, long hooks, but that wont always get it done for you if the wind blows or you have hard fairways. I was excited to hear when they were releasing a tour version of this club and could not wait to hit it!
The tour model keeps the 460cc head size with its Powerband technology for a very forgiving club head on off center hits, but thats about where the similarities end. Though 460cc. the head is more compact, giving it the preferred look by better players. The face is deeper allowing for a lower more penetrating ball flight which will help out the bigger hitters. The weighting as also neutral and moved up towards the face to keep from hitting the moon shots I experienced with the non tour driver. It looks better to me at address but is still large! I am hitting a 400cc driver so some 3 woods out there look too big for me!

When I set the club down I was impressed with the square to open face angle. That with the deeper club face allowed me to hit the ball with a little bit more fade than the non tour version. The clubs ball flight was perfect. It took off at the perfect angle for me and still hung in the air all the way down the fairway. I feel I’d be able to get a lot more distance with this driver seeing as I would be giving away some roll with the first Sasquatch I tested. I again hit a 9.5* with a stiff shaft and again was able to hit some very long drives with it. I got one out to the 280 mark and for me that is absolutely crushed!

I think the better player will really like this club. Tiger seems to like it as he is using a version of this driver on Tour along with several other Nike staff players. If you are looking for a large driver head that wont hit the ball a mile in the air and still adds forgiveness to off center hits, the Nike Sasquatch 460 Tour might just be the driver you are looking for! Looking for some more help getting the ball in the air? Look up some of the other reviews I have posted over the last month, there are some drivers in there for you!

Okay, so the other night there was a huge blackout in our area due to some technical problems. Good thing I had this amazon tactical flashlight which I recently purchased. It was really great as i was still able to do some chores in the backyard even at night. I highly recommend you use this one too!
