Robby Blanchard, the creator of Commission Hero, claims to help regular people earn a fortune online. That couldn’t possibly be an average outcome for one of his kids, but let’s suppose you can overlook that. Is the business strategy he teaches within Commission Hero (how to sell ClickBank items using Facebook advertising) viable? That’s not even close. It’s definitely my least favorite of all the ones I’ve evaluated, which is saying a lot considering how many I’ve done.

Next, consider what it’s like to be a ClickBank affiliate.

To be honest, that does seem really good in theory. Promote someone else’s digital goods, increase traffic, track commissions in your ClickBank account, and relax on the beach with an umbrella drink, right? What’s not to appreciate about that? It’s quick and simple, you don’t have to speak to anybody, and if you have a good campaign, you just increase your ad spending to increase your profits. Honestly? Are you interested in becoming a ClickBank super affiliate like Robby? It would almost certainly be the ideal lifestyle business. However, there are three points that are non-negotiable for me.

First and foremost, ClickBank items are complete garbage. You’re talking about outsourced PDF docs about earning money online or losing a lot of weight quickly that are offered for 37 dollars or whatever and only sell because of the absurd sales sites these folks create. “I was at a pub in London when I met a millionaire, and he explained me his secret three-step technique for earning endless money using nothing but a phone and this little-known traffic source no one knows about,” for example.

“And, wouldn’t you know, when I got back to Michigan, I used that exact three-step system to buy my dream home, retire my parents, and basically never have to work again; and I was just going to keep this all to myself, but then a friend convinced me to’send the elevator back down,’ and so, for a limited time (because I don’t want this getting into the hands of too many people), I’m willing to share it with you for a low one-time

Do you get what I’m saying? And that’s probably nothing compared to some of the ClickBank deals that thousands of Commission Hero members are now promoting. Then, as soon as someone buys, they’re bombarded with one crazy upsell after another, which is how you can make hundreds of dollars as an affiliate on a single transaction if you push this nonsense. But, come on. Can you face yourself in the mirror and feel good about earning a livelihood selling that sort of product?

Or, hey, maybe I’m just too pessimistic. Maybe I’m judging these ClickBank deals too harshly. Okay, that’s OK. But here’s my second issue: everyone Robby teaches this to is going to go after the same handful of top-converting ClickBank items with the same tried-and-true advertisements, funnels, and message, right? So, even if you get lucky and one of these things pops, isn’t your success going to be fleeting? Before the next hundred pupils arrive and copy you word for word?

Then explain I’m missing anything and you take care of the objection. That’s fantastic, but I have one more request. My third and last criticism of Robby’s training is this: good luck running Facebook advertisements for these kinds of deals, right? That’s a red flag for an account suspension. There’s no way Facebook will allow you offer “get wealthy fast” or “rapid weight reduction” items to its users. Sure, you could attempt to cheat the system by using a bridge page, but Zuck will smack you silly in no time.
